The Clarinet

The clarinet is a woodwind instrument, which requires air to be blown into a mouthpiece and across a reed (like a kazoo) to make sound. It has a high and low voice; often associated with jazz, cats, dancing, and kids. Its expressive and warm sound makes it a popular instrument with beginners and professionals alike. There are two types of clarinet in band: the standard clarinet, and the bass clarinet.
