Under construction... Come back later for more!
Nowadays, secrecy is not necessary anymore in planning massive social movements. Complex actions can be planed and can be executed in the open by a decentralized network. The idea is to put the opponent in a position without an escape by exploiting its weaknesses and overwhelming its capabilities. This can only work when the forces of the masses are greater than the forces deployed by the oppressive regime, which is always the case in principle, especially when the masses have at their disposal effective means of communication and coordination!
An oppressive regime relies mostly on deception, disinformation and fear tactics to dissipate a popular movement. The new technology makes this very difficult though. First, people are informed trough alternative media. Classical means of communication, which are largely still in control of tyrannical governments, are becoming less effective in reaching the masses, in part because of their loss of credibility. Second, the multitude can achieve a very high degree of coordination using the new technology and it can gather vast amounts of resources, which makes it possible to timely address multiple weak points of the system, on a large geographical area, surpassing the ability of the establishment to oppose the movement. In every country, the (riot) police was designed to fight disorganized crowds, generally confined in relatively small areas.
In cases where the act of organizing even for peaceful demonstrations is a crime in itself, the logistics can be put together in other countries by supporting organizations. Centers for planning and coordination active during the crisis can also operate from abroad, out of reach of local authorities. Information about the movement and the action plans can be broadcast widely over the Internet. If there is foreknowledge that communication will be cut off during the events, a pre-programmed mass movement can be organized.
It is important to understand the entire system that insures the stability of the tyrannical regime in power. Weak points must be identified. The popular revolution must be a carefully planned action, well coordinated, addressing as many weak points of the structure as possible (need a document teaching the structure of systems of power and their weak points). The goal is to exhaust the resources of the tyrannical government in power. "Light many fires" and make it impossible for the regime to put them all out. At the same time, paralyze important centers which are used by the regime to respond and to regenerate its forces. Cut links to resources. All these actions can be easily coordinated with the help of the new technology. The new technology makes it possible for a popular revolution aiming regime change to destabilize the regime within a very short time, with minimal collateral damage. Non violent well-coordinated actions, by millions of people, can overwhelm any tyrannical regime.
