Should I use the Boomerang technique
Important steps after a wrongful termination
The Boomerang is a new method to be used by employees in a wrongful termination case. The main idea is to use the wrongdoing inflicted on the employee by the employer, to potentially create damage on the employer's side. Simply put, what goes around, comes around, like a boomerang...
Most conflict resolution methods make use of a third party, a judge or a mediator. The Boomerang method is used by the employee dealing directly with the employer. No expensive and/or biased middleman involved! Moreover, this technique is entirely under the control of the employee leaving the employer powerless, at least on one particular front.
Employees can use the Boomerang during negotiations for a fair reparation package, or afterwords, if the negotiation brakes down. One thing is certain, when properly implemented this technique increases tremendously the employee's negotiation power.
In essence
You've been wrongfully terminated
You find the severance package offered to you by the company to be unfair
You want the company to pay for their wrongdoing
Use the Boomerang method to negotiate a fair reparation deal
Use the Boomerang method to make the company pay for their wrongdoing if the negotiation fails
