January

• First accusation event reported by Carolyn Martinez

June 5

• • George’s departure from Raydiance

Beginning of June

• • I publicly gave credit to Carolyn Martinez for her major contribution to the "skin peeler project".

June 20

• • I raise important issues about the Applications lab to the higher management (including Scott Davison, president of Raydiance). This action put Mike Armas in a bad light, he was in charge of the lab.

June 21 to 25

• • I feared for my job for supplying scientific data to some important engineers during a debate on a project that Mike Armas was strongly advocating (metal machining debate). The data demonstrated that Mike's ideas were not well founded. I also spoke about my concerns with a few trusted coworkers.

June 23

• • Mike Armas appointed Carolyn Martinez as temporary lab manager, in response to my action on June 20th.

End of June

• • First meeting with Carolyn Martinez to solve our communication issues, and second accusation event reported by Carolyn

July 2 to 4

• • The demo setup and presentation, I feared for my job after a mature and constructive confrontation with Mike Armas, reacting to his unfair criticism of our performance for the demo. One of his reactions during our conversation: "Shit rolls downhill" - another coworker participated in this event.

  • Email communication with Carolyn Martinez to resolve our differences, showing my good intentions.

  • Mike Armas named Carolyn Martinez as the center of communication with the applications lab

July 15

• • The beef liver incident involving Carolyn Martinez and I, including email communication with Kathi Safford (HR) and Mike Armas about this issue

  • The first meeting with Kathi Safford and Carolyn Martinez subsequent to Carolyn's accusations of poor performance and insubordination, also related to the beef liver incident. The meeting ended with no warning against me, but a verbal warning against Carolyn for inappropriate language.

July 31

• • The beef bone incident involving Carolyn Martinez and I, including email communication with Mike Armas and Kathi Safford (HR) about this incident

July 31 to August 1

• • Email communication with Kathi Safford about my decision to step aside (quit the company or work in a different environment), stating that the cause of my decision was Mike Armas and Carolyn Martinez

  • Email communication with Robert Waarts telling him about the situation in the lab, and that I wanted to step aside from the Applications lab.

August 1 to 5

• • I was away from work to renew my work visa (in Canada)

August 7

• • Mike Armas handed me the hostile workplace/sexual harassment accusation notice (Accusation.jpg), with no other prior action, and no precedent to the HR
