The Integration and Automation Community (IAC) is a community mostly composed of independent individuals collaborating together to develop a universal technological platform for integration and automation solutions, and to implement these solutions.
The IAC takes the form of a typical social networking structure. Its most important functions are:
Database
of individuals that are characterized through a profile showcasing their skills, their achievements, their availability, their location, etc.
of open methods and processes relevant to integration and automation
of suppliers of different hardware and software components
Provide tools
for design and simulation
for communication and collaboration
for accounting and finance
for project management
for legal aspects: contracts, etc.
Match IAC members and organizations that need their services
Track record: the involvement and achievements of individuals and groups is recordedThrough its collaborative platform the IAC will create highly modular systems based on open technologies (not patented). Anybody part of the community will be able to contribute to enhance these systems, and to use them freely.
