Briefing
This course was given during the fifth-year winter semester. It included some lectures that were held independently of the five-day seminar schedule. Upon request, we were able to double up on seminars and finish two days earlier.
Seminars were lengthy and conducted in a monologue format (unfortunately, as this course could have benefited greatly from group discussions). The occasional "interactive" questions that were asked required only brief responses.
All absences required a valid excuse. We were informed that one excused absence was permissible, but two or more absences would need to be made up, such as by giving a presentation.
The instructor stated that the course may conclude with a written assessment if the "participation willingness of students is low" during seminars.
Attendance
Credit
Credit is given after all classes have been attended.
2020 Syllabus: "A prerequisite for passing the course is the attendance at seminars, active participation in them and a positive result of the oral assessment of the seminar. In case of absence - the obligation to make up the classes after prior arrangement with the assistant."
