Longer and different hours are in the works; AZS will keep you posted.
(Outside the access hours, you may ask a trainer - if one is present in the hall - to individually use the gym in the background while they have lessons. Just mind that they can kick you out if they need the space)

Other (AZS)
AZS may occasionally organise different sportive activities for members and non-members alike (for example paintball, table tennis, beach volleyball, etc).
AZS can also be your portal into many national sports competitions during which you can represent our university.
Representing our university in tournaments will be recognized and awarded upon your graduation (in a special segment during the graduation ceremony by AZS). If you seek extracurricular engagement and want to excell your CV with sports, this [through joining AZS clubs] is the way.
Rent a hall
If you want to create a group sport activity for you and your peers, you can rent for example the Student Dorms 1 sports hall.
This way, you don't need to arrange a trainer/supervisor from the PE department, because you are responsible yourself.
Renting it will cost you money out of your own pocket(s) though, because Dorms 1 apparently has a separate financial system from the university. Your student status doesn't grant you free access here.
How the exact renting process works we can' t descibe yet – please let us know if you find out how! Most likely it's done through the Dorms 1 administration – that would be the best place to start.
The UMB Welcome Center can help you with translation issues and talking to our university administrators.
