master dance personality.
Becky Umeh, Nigerian master dancer and mastersinger,

her extraordinarily graceful movements and voice
expressions.
Kombo Omolara, another Trinidadian, drummer, and
master stilts walker, does
creative dancing while being suspended four feet in
the air on stilts, and does
not miss a beat.
Roberto Dominich, master Cuban drummer, will challenge
you to keep up with his incredible hand drumming
speed.
Dion Jacobs, a native of Tobago and former student of
Wayne Guerra
(Trinidadian master djembe drummer), will demonstrate
his extensive knowledge of djembe drumming.
Jaamin Tempo was trained in classical music in Japan,
plays 13 different instruments, and has performed with
Little Royal and Gill Scott Heron. She is a singer,
songwriter, and composer, and plays conga drums for
the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers.
Doc Powell, originally from Atlantic City NJ and one
of the main coordinators
of the creative activities on those Sundays in Malcolm
X Park, rounds out the
troupe and acts as the Music Director, producer, and
lead drummer for the
Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers.

More than 25 different cultures are represented in this keenly anticipated event from Noon to 7 PM. "Arts on Belmont" opens at 10am. Almost every year, the Hung Tao Choy Mei Leadership Institute selects an artist who has provided exemplary service to the community. We present the Paul Robeson "Here I Stand" award after interviewing the honoree on stage. We also provide a showcase for local artists, including the children that attend our Kung Fu institute. It's a chance to bring the community together, learn how to help each other and have a good time. We hope you'll come and have an unforgettable evening.

Come to the Kids' Corner Fall Fair on Saturday, October 20, 2012. The event raises money to support the Kids' Corner Day Care Center's music education program.
WHAT: Fun-filled day of pumpkin painting, moon bounce, toddler hay rides, face painting, music, dancing, and more! A variety of lunch and dessert items from many local restaurants will be available.
