This track is part 3 of a 3-part series of tracks that span along the Colorado river from the Hite Crossing Bridge to Moab, UT.    These 3 tracks are HMB-25, HMB-26, and HMB-27.      Normally these single pylons would have a valid radius of 150 ft.   That is, you would need to be within 150 ft of the pylon for the turn to be recognized as valid.    For these three tracks, that radius has been increased over 1,000 ft.    So if you need the whole river's width to make the corner, you can do it now.  Naturally, this relaxed parameter is only valid for the single-pylon structures.   Any dual-pylon set still requires you to go between the two.

Each track section has a different section of the Colorado river to follow, and each one in succession makes the track just a little more difficult.   There isn't much in this nice, wide river to collide with, so the main danger is contacting the water as you attempt to stay below the height of the pylons.   To that end, each one of the tracks uses shorter pylons than the previous one.  Roughly speaking the heights are as follows:

The final unique property of these courses is the speed at which they can be flown.   Velocities over 400 knots have been recorded here.   So this is a good place to get your speed on and find your inner Speed Racer.   A bit of caution is in order.   If you are accustomed to racing other MeeshTrax courses, where the speeds are much lower, and you' re probably not accustomed to traveling this fast and this close to a river.   As a result of this, I feel it is necessary to remind you how quickly a slight mis-calculation can send you into the river at 400 knots when you're only 60 feet above it.   You're welcome.  Have Fun!
