The TRUE Jesus, According to the FOUR Gospels!
***What Does John 6:69 TRULY Mean?
Here is John 6:69 from the KJV. “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”
In the Gospel of John, the Apostle John writes or records the words of the Apostle Peter saying what all of the twelves Apostles believed with surety.
So, when Peter spoke these words, he was speaking for all of the Apostles of Jesus saying, “We believe and are SURE that you are the CHRIST, the Son of the Living God.”
And the Apostle John WARNS us in 2 John 1:9, that if we do not abide in or we do not REMAIN in the faith of believing the DOCTRINE of CHRIST, then we do not have God.

All of the Apostles Agree that Jesus is the CHRIST!
In the first four chapters of Book 11, The TRUE Jesus, According to the Apostles' DOCTRINE, we learned that Satan has deceived the whole world, which includes Satan having deceived the whole church.
And we learn how Satan has deceived every church denomination with one or more of his doctrines of devils.
Satan did this by deceiving Bible scholars to have a wrong understanding about God’s word.
And thus, the Bible scholars who “translated” the Bible into English, read their WRONG understanding of God into the Scriptures.
Therefore, the translations of the Bible are “slanted” toward or biased toward what the translators themselves BELIEVED.
And Ephesians 4:13 is an excellent example to use to show you what I mean by having the WRONG MINDSET or the wrong UNDERSTANDING of the Son of God.
Let us read Ephesians 4:13 from the King James Version first, because you can see two totally DIFFERENT ways to “interpret” this verse.
Then we will read the same verse from the New International Version where you can see only ONE single UNDERSTANDING.
In other words, the translators INTERPRETED this verse as to how THEY understand who the Son of God is.
Thus, you can only see THEIR understanding of the Son of God and what the phrase “Son of God” means to THEM.
You will see what I mean after you read this study to the end.
Here is the KJV translation of Ephesians 4:13, where again, we can interpret it in two DIFFERENT ways.
King James Version of Ephesians 4:13.
“13. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
Now, if you have the MINDSET that an already PERFECT God the Son, who was INCARNATED as flesh, then your UNDERSTANDING of the phrase the “Son of God” is an already PERFECT Son of God.
Therefore, you will interpret or understand the clause “unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” to be referring to us, as Christians, and not as the Son of God being made PERFECT after the cross and resurrection.
However, according to the context itself and also the understanding that God made the Son of MAN, Jesus, PERFECT, according to Hebrews 2:10, there is another way to understand the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God.
In other words, when you read Ephesians 4:13 from the NIV translations, then you cannot see the understanding of the Son of God being made PERFECT after the cross and resurrection.
Rather, you can only see us, as Christians becoming MATURE.
New International Version of Ephesians 3:14.
“13. until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
But again, the subject under discussion is our coming to reach unity and agreement concerning our faith in the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God.
Paul is not talking about coming into unity of the faith about the knowledge of ourselves becoming mature.
In other words, even at the time of the Apostle Paul, the church was DIVIDED in how they UNDERSTOOD Jesus as being the Son of God.
Did the phrase the “Son of God” mean that Jesus had a divine nature DURING the days of his FLESH.
That was the teaching that began to creep into the church even in Paul’s day.
For you see, the Apostles of Jesus believed and taught that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was MADE to become PERFECT after the cross and resurrection.
Remember that the Gospel was at first preached only to the Jews, and then, after Jesus called Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles, God turned the Gospel toward the Gentiles in order to provoke the Jews to jealousy, according to Romans 10:19 and Romans 11:11.
Thus, some of the heathen Gentile beliefs filtered into the church little by little over the rest of the whole history of the church.
In other words, SOME Christians began to believe that a pre-existing God the Son came down from heaven to be incarnated as flesh, but yet remain the fully PERFECT Son of God.
Thus, they believed that the Son of God had TWO natures at the SAME time during the days of his flesh, one divine, and one human.
Therefore, the translators of some of the modern translations read into their “translations” their own preconceived MINDSET that the last clause must be referring to us, as immature baby Christians.
For you see, their own preconceived belief in the doctrine of God Himself becoming a man would not allow them to believe that the Son of God needed to be made PERFECT.
Let us read Ephesians 3:14 from two more translations, and then we will read the whole context.
Holman Christian Standard Bible of Eph. 3:14.
“13. until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, [growing] into a mature man with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.”
Young's Literal Translation of Ephesians 3:14.
“13. till we may all come to the unity of the faith and of the recognition of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to a measure of stature of the fullness of the Christ,”
Simply remove the commas from the Young’s literal translation and you can clearly see that the Apostle Paul is endeavoring to bring the church into the UNITY of the FAITH to RECOGNIZE and understand that the HUMAN Son of God was made COMPLETE.
In other words, according to Luke 24:26, Jesus teaches us that it was necessary for the Son of MAN to suffer and die on the cross in order to enter into his GLORY.
Luke 24:25,26.
“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Luk 24:26. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?”
And in Acts 2:22-42, the Apostle Peter clearly teaches us that the MAN APPROVED of God was MADE both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection.
Then in Colossians 1:19, we see that it was after the Son of MAN, Jesus, became the FIRSTBORN of every creature was WHEN it PLEASED the Father that the FULLNESS of the Godhead should DWELL in him bodily.
In other words, it was when the Son of MAN was made Lord, that his God and Father gave the FULLNESS of the ANOINTING of His Holy Spirit to become a DEITY under and subject to his God and Father.
Again, it was after his God and Father was PLEASED by the OBEDIENCE of his human Son that the FULLNESS of the DEITY should dwell in him bodily, and be GIVEN a NAME above all names to OBTAIN a more excellent than the angels, according to Philippians 2:6-11 and Hebrews 1:1-14.
With that being said, let us read verse 16 in CONTEXT, so that you can see that we are to come into the unity of the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God, and not the knowledge of us becoming mature adult Christians.
Ephesians 4:1-15.
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called,
Ephesians 4:2. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Ephesians 4:3. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (In other words, we must try the spirits to see whether it is the Spirit of God or if they are evil spirits teaching doctrines of devils)
Ephesians 4:4. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; (And if we are all listening to the one eternal Spirit who dwells in us, then we will all believe and teach the DOCTRINE of the Apostles of Jesus, which is, Jesus is the CHRIST, the Son of the Living God, and not the Living God Himself, who alone is the Father)
Ephesians 4:5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (Speaking of the one faith of the Son of MAN, the MAN APPROVED of God, being made both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:22-42)
Ephesians 4:6. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (This is one of many verses in the Bible where the one God is always clearly identified as being the Father)
Ephesians 4:7. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Ephesians 4:8. Wherefore, he said, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Ephesians 4:9. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Ephesians 4:10. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) (The word “things” is not in the original text and the translators did not translate the definite article “the” to read, “that he might fill or COMPLETE the all”, speaking of the all who believe unto the end to receive our glorified bodies to be like Jesus was given from his God and Father)
Ephesians 4:11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Ephesians 4:12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:13. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, (Or more correctly translated, “Until we all come in the unity of the faith, even the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God unto a perfect or complete HUSBAND”) unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Or unto the limit of the level of attainment of the ANOINTING.
In other words, until we all understand that the human Son of God was made to become a DEITY under and subject to his God and Father after the cross and resurrection)
Ephesians 4:14. THAT (Or so that) we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Ephesians 4:15. But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”
The Greek word G435, translated as “MAN” in verse 14 is a different Greek word than G444 that means man, as in, human being.
And while the Greek word G435 means man as well, it also means FELLOWS, male, sir and HUSBAND.
It is the same Greek word translated as “husband” in Revelation 21:9, speaking of Jesus being the husband of the bride, the Lamb’s wife to be.
With that being said, let us now see what the Apostle Matthew teaches in the Gospel of Matthew about the Son of God.
Please read Matthew 28:18, which is AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Matthew 28:18.
“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and on earth.”
And the cross reference gives us references to many other verses that clearly teach us that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was HIGHLY EXALTED and given a NEW NAME above every other name to be made Lord after the cross and resurrection.
Here are some of those verse references, but certainly not all of the verses teaching us that the Son of MAN, the human Son of God ENTERED into glory to become the Lord of glory.
Matthew 11:27, Psalm 2:6-9, Psalm 89:19, Psalm 89:27, Psalm 110:1-3, Isaiah 9:6-7, Daniel 7:14, Luke 1:32-33, Luke 10:22, John 3:35, John 5:22-27, John 17:2, John 17:22-26, Acts 2:36, Acts 10:36-38, Romans 14:9, 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, Ephesians 1:20-22, Philippians 2:6-11, Colossians 1:19, Hebrews 1:2-9, Hebrews 2:8, 1 Peter 3:22, Revelation 5:12, Revelation 19:16.
The phrase “the Christ” is found 19 times and the phrase “that Christ” is found 13 times.
And the Apostle John records in the Gospel of John the words of the Apostle Peter speaking on behalf of the Twelve Apostles, saying, “We are SURE you are THAT Christ, the Son of the LIVING God.”
John 6:69.
“And we believe and are SURE that you are THAT Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Matthew 16:13-20.
“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I, the Son of MAN, am?
Matthew 16:14. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Matthew 16:15. He said unto them, But whom do you say that I am? (And who do YOU say that the Son of God is? Do you confess that God became a man or that a MAN became a God?)
Matthew 16:16. And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matthew 16:17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven. (He revealed this truth unto you)
Matthew 16:18. And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (The rock is the Son of MAN, Jesus, being MADE the CHRIST, the Son of the Living God, which the Father revealed to the Apostle Peter and to all of the Apostles and disciples of Jesus)
Matthew 16:19. And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:20. Then he charged his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.”
So then, according to all FOUR Gospels and ALL of the Apostles of Jesus, and Jesus himself, the TRUE Jesus is that he is the CHRIST, the Son of the Living God.
But church TRADITION has a DIFFERENT understanding of Jesus than how the Apostles of Jesus understand Jesus.
In other words, according to Hebrews 2:7-9, and Hebrews 5:7, the Apostles of Jesus, see or understand Jesus to be MADE a little LOWER than the angels during the days of his FLESH.
Therefore, according to the Apostles of Jesus, he was not fully Almighty God Himself in the flesh DURING the days of his FLESH.
But rather, it was the ANOINTING that came down from heaven and came into the FLESH of the Son of MAN, Jesus to DWELL in him at the time he was baptized in the River Jordan by John the Baptist.
And that is where we will pick up and continue to learn in chapter 6 called 2nd John 1:9, The DOCTRINE of Christ and the Spirit of Antichrist!

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
