Acts 2:22-42 is the FIRST Gospel Message!
***What Acts 2:22 TRULY Means?
Here is Acts 2:22 from the KJV. “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:”
Please notice that the Apostle Peter says that Jesus is a MAN who is APPROVED of God.
The Greek word translated as “approved” also means to show that God is with him, to demonstrate that God is with him, to prove that God is with him, and to exhibit or even show off that God is with him.
Also, notice how Almighty God revealed to the men of Israel that He approved of the Son of MAN, Jesus, was through God Himself doing the miracles by dwelling in Jesus.
Notice as well that the Jews also KNEW that Almighty God the Father DWELT in Jesus, because Jesus plainly told them in John 5:19,20, when they falsely accused him of making himself equal with God in verse 18.
Then, in verse 19, Jesus answered their false accusation in his DEFENSE saying that he could do NOTHING of himself and it was God doing the works.
And later on in John 14:10, Jesus tells Philip that the Father DWELLING in him is the one doing the works.
So then, the Apostle John also has the SAME understanding of Jesus that Peter has, because what John says in these verses in the Gospel of John support what the Apostle Peter teaches us.
We also read in Acts 10:38 that God ANOINTED Jesus with His Holy Spirit and POWER, and Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the Devil, for God was WITH him.
And thus, Luke, the writer of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, also has the SAME understanding that the Apostle Peter has of Almighty God the Father DWELLING in the Son of MAN, Jesus, a MAN approved by God.
And, as well, all through the New Testament, even the unsaved Jews glorified Almighty God the Father knowing full well that it was Almighty God the Creator, who had given men such power to heal the sick.
We see the men of Israel glorifying God when the Son of MAN healed the man with palsy in Matthew 9:2-8.
We see a whole multitude of the men of Israel glorifying the God of Israel when the Son of man healed the dumb, the maimed, the lame, and the blind in Matthew 15:31.
Again, Acts 10:38 clearly teaches us that Jesus healed all of the sick who were oppressed by the devil through the means of God being WITH him.
But if you have the wrong MINDSET and your mind is FIXED with the understanding that Jesus did all of the miracles in his OWN power, then you read right over those verses.
For you see, the gospel is hidden from you because the god of this present world has blinded your MINDS so that the LIGHT of the glorious Gospel should shine unto you, according to 2 Corinthians 4:3,4.

Three thousand Souls Were Saved by THIS Gospel Message!
I cannot stress enough that three THOUSAND Jews were saved by this FIRST Gospel message that was preached to them by the Apostle Peter, according to Acts 2:41, which we will be reading in a moment.
And I believe that if the church as a whole repents and preaches the TRUTH of the Gospel in SIMPLICITY as the Apostles did in the first century, then we will also see thousands upon thousand of people saved by them hearing the TRUE Jesus being preached to them.
Let us begin chapter 3 of book 11 by reading an excerpt from the Verse Study that I wrote years ago on Acts 2:36, which you can read later.
Please read the very FIRST Gospel message preached by the Apostle Peter under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:22-36.
“You men of Israel, HEAR these words; (Now the Gospel was FIRST preached to the Jews only and the SAME Gospel was preached later to the Gentiles.
So, whether you are a Jew or Gentile, HEAR these words of the Apostle Peter) Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know: (Jesus said in John 5:19 that he could do NOTHING of himself.
And in John 14:10 Jesus teaches us that it was Almighty God the Father DWELLING in him who did the works.
The Son of MAN, Jesus, offered himself to his God and Father without spot THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrews 9:14)
Acts 2:23. Him, (The Son of MAN approved by God) being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, (In other words, everything that was PROPHESIED to happen to Jesus was FULFILLED by God at the time it was prophesied to come to pass) was you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Acts 2:24. Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.
Acts 2:25. For David speaks CONCERNING him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Acts 2:26. Therefore, did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
Acts 2:27. Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption.
Acts 2:28. You have made known to me (Your Holy One prophesied in the Scriptures) the ways of life; You shall make me full of JOY with Your countenance. (Speaking of the JOY that Yahweh set before the Son of MAN, Jesus, to endure the cross, according to Hebrews 12:2.
And that joy was the PROMISE that God would GLORIFY the Son of MAN with the FULNESS of the Godhead to JOIN his God and Father on His throne to sit at His right hand as his reward for enduring the cross)
Acts 2:29. Men and brethren, let me FREELY speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.
Acts 2:30. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to SIT on His throne;
Acts 2:31. He, (The prophet David) having seen this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Acts 2:32. This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Acts 2:33. Therefore, being by the right hand of God EXALTED, and having RECEIVED of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he (Speaking of the now GLORIFIED highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection) has shed forth this, which you now see and hear. (In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN all power and authority after the cross to baptize whosoever BELIEVES with the Holy Spirit to EMPOWER us to do the same works that Almighty God empower His human Son, Jesus, to do during the days of his FLESH)
Acts 2:34. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on My right hand,
Acts 2:35. UNTIL I make your foes your footstool.
Acts 2:36. Therefore, let all of the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY, that God has MADE that same Jesus, (Speaking of the Son of MAN, the HUMAN Son of God) whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Now, mere common sense should teach anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear that since Almighty God MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus, to BECOME both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, then the Son was not ALWAYS Lord in the eternity past.
Therefore, when we read the phrase “the Son of God” we must know and understand that it can mean the HUMAN Son of God BEFORE the Son of God was GLORIED after the cross and resurrection, according to Luke 24:26 and John 7:39.
For you see, according to John 3:13-15, it was the Son of MAN, Jesus, who was lifted up on the cross.
And we must also know and understand that the phrase “Son of God” speaks of the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection.
In other words, the Bible ITSELF teaches us about the days of his FLESH that were BEFORE the cross and resurrection of Jesus.
And according to John 5:19, during the days of his FLESH, the Son could do NOTHING of himself.
And according to John 14:10, it was Almighty God Himself doing the works by dwelling in His Son.
It was the Son of MAN, Jesus, who offered himself to his God and Father without spot THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrews 9:14.
And the PROPHECY in Isaiah 9:6,7 clearly teaches us that a SON would be BORN of a woman FIRST.
And then, that Son of a virgin woman would be GIVEN.
And THEN, after the cross and resurrection and WHEN the GOVERNMENT shall be laid upon his shoulders, that his NAME shall be called the Mighty God.
And the human Son of God was given a NEW NAME after the cross and resurrection.

But church TRADITION argues that God sent His already existing God the Son down from heaven and God the Son manifested or incarnated himself to become flesh.
And church TRADITION adds that when God the Son became flesh he REMAINED the FULLY Almighty God the Son.
And thus, church TRADITION had to invent a new teaching that is NOT found anywhere in the Bible ITSELF.
And that new man-made doctrine, which began to develop in the second century, states that Jesus had TWO natures at the SAME TIME during the days of his FLESH, one divine and one human.
And it took some four hundred years for that apostate church TRADITION to form that man-made two natures of Jesus doctrine at the SAME time during the days of his flesh.
Here is a quote from another website explaining what the council at Chalcedon in 451 AD was all about.
“The Council of Chalcedon was called in 451 CE by the Roman Emperor Marcian (r. 450-457) to settle debates regarding the nature (hypostases, "reality") of Christ that had begun at two earlier meetings in Ephesus (431 CE and 439 CE).
The question was whether Christ was human or divine, a man who became God (through the resurrection and ascension) or God who became a man (through the incarnation, "taking on flesh"), and how his humanity and divinity affected his essence and being, if at all.”
In other words, ALL Christians at that time in history agreed that Jesus was DEITY or had divine NATURE.
But the question or DEBATE was HOW was Jesus Deity? When was Jesus Deity?
And did the Son of man become deity after the cross and resurrection?
Or did a pre-existing God become a man who remained fully God during the days of his flesh having BOTH natures at the SAME time?
So then, according to the very first Gospel message that was preached by the Apostle Peter and recorded by Luke in the Book of Act chapter 2, verses 22-42, which of the following two questions is in complete agreement with the Apostles’ DOCTRINE?
#1. Did Jesus BECOME God by being made a partaker of the Divine nature AFTER the cross through the resurrection and the ascension?
#2. Did an already Divine God BECOME a MAN through the concept of incarnation, the taking on the nature of FLESH?
In other words, did the Apostle Peter say a single word about a so-called always existing God the Son being APPROVED of God?
Did the Apostle Peter say that this same God the Son RETURNED to being Lord on his throne which he sat upon for all eternity past?
No! Absolutely not! So then, the SOUND Biblical answer is question #1, the HUMAN Son of Almighty God was made to become a DEITY or a God under and subject to his God and Father for the purpose of replacing Satan in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen gods.
Please know and understand that immediately following the council at Chalcedon in 451 AD there were even MORE divisions in the church than ever before.
And that also proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that church TRADITION was being FORCED upon the church.
Well, today or in the world in our present day, there is not that threat of torture and death for believing what the Bible ITSELF actually teaches over what church TRADITION teaches.
So, allow me to speak FREELY to all who are seeking the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
What does the Bible ITSELF teach us concerning this DEBATE between whether a MAN became a God, as opposed to the eternal God became a MAN?
Again, please know and understand that I do indeed teach that Jesus is Deity.
But what I teach is what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY, which is that the Son of MAN became a God under and subject to his God and Father after the cross and resurrection.

And to me, the truth concerning who Jesus TRULY is, according to the Bible ITSELF, is the Biblical Unitarian view of Jesus.
Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
