Bubble tip anemones are found in the tropical Indo-Pacific regions, which include the Red Sea, the coasts of Australia, Indonesia, and the Great Barrier Reef. They create large beds that serve as homes for significant groups of clownfish, along with 13 other species of anemone fish. They are capable of regeneration - an entire anemone can regenerate from a small fragment of tissue!
