How to Submit
While our website is in the works, please post submissions to the proper [discord] channels. Be sure to fill out the forms when submitting works. The forms can often be found pinned in those specific channels.
Submissions must be visible by staff members without requiring them to sign up to a website. Written entries must not require a file download to view such as PDF files. While we're primarily using DeviantART until our own site is up, you may also use other sites like Toyhouse, pixiv, Furaffinity, Google Docs, ArchiveofOurOwn, etc.
Do not shorten your links when submitting works in discord. You may use these symbols < > to prevent a preview from popping up of your link.
All entries for submissions must be created by you. This means no tracing, stamps, bases or brushes unless otherwise stated.
Absolutely no AI generated or enhanced content will be allowed in this ARPG. If we detect AI art, then we will deny or rescind all rewards earned. Repeated offenses may incur time outs from the discords or temp bans from the group.
Visual Art
"Main Characters" include any Guardian species like Motti, Bunnaburra, Racoonda, etc
"Companion Characters" refer to familiars, mounts, and pets.
The majority of visual art accepted for most submissions in the group are based on digital or traditional 2D Art. Examples include: pen, ink, pencil, colored pencil, water colors, pastel, paint, etc.
3D art such as clay, models, digital sculpts, rigs, paper dolls, plushies, needle felt, yarn dolls, etc vary greatly and are too difficult to quantify from a moderator perspective. Thus these can't be used interchangeably with 2D images for submissions unless otherwise stated. However! We are super excited to see all types of art shared here in the group. There will be prompts specifically made for 3D art in the future that give rewards as well. So if you're interested, look forward to that in a future update!
Unless otherwise stated, all prompts must be at minimum, sketched and colored.
Each time a task is repeated it must be all new art.
No bases may be used unless otherwise stated. This also includes no using stamps, models, or tracing to your works.
The character limit per submission is six Main Characters. Bonded companions do not count towards the limits.
Requirements must be fulfilled per character included to receive rewards, main or companion. Those within the piece that do not fulfill requirements will not earn rewards
A background must include at least the ground, and three different, unique, hand drawn elements. (Ex: Trees, flowers, rocks, mushrooms, bushes would count, but three trees would not. A birch tree, spruce tree and oak tree would however, count.)
If a prompt requires a specific element to be present, like an animal, a plant, or building, etc, those are expected to be drawn and not traced over or stamped in.
A task allows a sketch option unless it says "No Sketch Only Option!" By opting for the Sketch Only option, you receive half of the rewards for prompts. (We are testing this option out as a way for players who have less time to participate a little more. This is a test run however. If moderating this option is too stressful, difficult or time consuming. We will remove it.)
To turn in sketches, your character(s) must be recognizable. If you're submitting multiple characters, staff members must be able to tell who is who. When sketching backgrounds, we must be able to tell what the background is. If a sketch is too messy or unrecognizable you will have a chance to correct it.
If you turn in art for the Sketch Option, then you cannot turn those sketches in again once polished. You will need completely different art to turn them in for the repeatable tasks.
Literature
"Main Characters" include any Guardian species like Motti, Bunnaburra, Racoonda, etc
"Companion Characters" refer to familiars, mounts, and pets.
All literature submissions must be written in English.
When opting for literature for submissions, you may use any site that doesn't force a PDF format like Google Docs or ArchiveofOurOwn to submit your works.
We officially use wordcounter.net to count words when checking literature submissions.
The characters qualifying for rewards are limited per submission is two Main Characters. Bonded companions do not count towards the limits.
Up to six tasks may be included per submission as long as they are separated with a divider, title, or section break to make it clear to staff where the former task ends and the new one begins. You may include up to six tasks per submission as long as they are clearly labeled for staff to check.
Collaborations
After test running collaborations with events, we have decided to allow them for Tasks! It will be explicitly stated if they are not allowed for specific tasks.
Each collaborator must make an effort to contribute as evenly as possible for fairness, when submitting, list out on what each partner did.
All characters included must meet the minimum requirements for everyone to receive rewards.
If Player 1 and Player 2 meet the requirements, but Player 3 doesn't, no one will receive rewards.
If a task requires a background, only one background must be present for all collaborators to receive the rewards.
There are no limits to how many characters may be included at this time, though this may change in the future.
If Player 1 includes three characters, Player 2 doesn't have to have three as well. Player 1 may have three, Player 2 may have one, and Player 3 may have one.
There is no limit to the number of people that can collaborate at this time.
Specify how rewards are given if there are multiple rewards to choose from.
There are various types of activities that will present themselves in Lucerna for players to take advantage of. Besides being a sandbox to play around with, build stories, and socialize with other members, there are additional activities to get those ideas (and rewards) flowing!

Events are seasonal or yearly activities that offer rare or special rewards and may be completed in a set time frame. Examples of events could be Lucernan holidays, location based festivals, lore based story events, and more.
Tasks
