Base Requirement: Corkshrooms and Cypress wood are integral to repairing and building homes in Cypress Springs. Despite the corruption surrounding the town, preventing the locals from venturing too far away from the town, there are plenty of materials in the outer limits to collect. Unfortunately, the Duke has forbidden those who aren't guards or laborers from going out to collect materials. Today, however, Baron Akistro has felt the growing unrest in the younger motti and decided to accompany the lumberjacks and guards to the outer limits alongside any townsfolk who want to assist in corkshroom and wood collection.
Depict your character collecting materials, talking to Baron Akistro, or the guards, or enjoying their rare time outside the walls of the city. Nymphs are not allowed outside the walls at all. At least a half body depiction of your character in a background is required or for literature, 500 words.

Base Requirement: With the population of Cypress Springs booming in the last several decades, some hunters have requested the help of the townsfolk to collect rations for the town. Baroness Merla and a few guards are accompanying the hunting party to assist. Depict your character attempting to hunt deer, gator, and various birds using a bow or crossbow. They could also be shown carrying or dressing the animals or even failing to make a kill or hunt. Baroness Merla is not judgemental of those who cannot make a kill and may offer comfort. Similarly she will also congratulate those who do assist. Remember that nymphs are not allowed outside the walls at all. At least a half body depiction of your character in a background is required or for literature, 500 words.

Depict your character fishing in the swamp, either on the mossy, saturated banks or by riding in kayaks, wooden jon boats, or wooden pontoon boats. Base Requirement: Limited viable farm land in the swamps makes farming difficult, but with the little space that is available, there are crops of asparagus, spinach, taro, rhubarb and water chestnuts. There are a few rice fields in the shallower fringes of the swamp and perched up against the cypress trees you can find things like red currants, dewberries, blackberries, salmonberries and blueberries. Many of these crops help make cakes and sweet treats for those in the town. The local farmers and foragers are seeking assistance in harvesting these crops. Caretaker Tog is fond of foraging and has ventured out to assist the guards and farmers in protecting the townsfolk who are assisting in collection. Draw your characters assisting in the harvest of crops or foraging of berries, or even snacking on a few berries with Caretaker Tog. Remember, Nymphs are not allowed outside the walls of Cypress Springs. At least a half body depiction of your character in a background is required or for literature, 500 words.

Base Requirement: Cypress Springs is cradled by Umbreglade Swamp and many of the cobblestone structures are dilapidated or crumbling. Stone is a valuable resource for the city, but difficult to collect. There is a small bog iron mine that is carefully guarded day and night behind Akistro's manor. As a new generation of adults come of age, cobblestone and bog iron are in high demand. Akistro has opened the mine up for a very limited time to alleviate the strain on the local miners by allowing the townsfolk to transport the materials out of the mine and into a secured storage area. Depict your character pushing mine carts, carrying materials or helping break down large materials outside of the mine. They may also be depicted talking to Baron Akistro himself. At least a half body depiction of your character in a background is required or for literature, 500 words.

Base Requirement: Cattails, heather and reeds are necessary to help build integral thatch roofing on the Cypress dorms in town. With the boom in population in recent years, their stock is running low and thatch is difficult to dry in the swamp. Assist Caretaker Tog, the guards and some laborers in collecting an abundance of these materials from the swamp. Caretaker Tog has also taken it upon herself to teach the volunteers how to weave cordage out of milkweed, rose mallow and cattails. Depict your character assisting in the collection of any of these materials or learning how to weave twine with Caretaker Tog. Base Requirement: There are several temples and ritual sites scattered around the town. Most ritual sites have not been used in over 200 years due to the lack of resources from blocked trade routes. Despite this, the local priests and elders have attempted to keep the sites cleaned and polished. Living in the swamp however, the humidity increases the growth of the moss and mushrooms, causing them to overtake the unused sites. The clerics have requested help in restoring the temples and ritual sites. Depict your character assisting the shrine keepers in some way. Polishing the stone ritual sites, temples, shrines or doing routine maintenence like sweeping, painting, cleaning etc. At least a half body depiction of your character in a background is required or for literature, 500 words.
