Every year, Art Fight hosts a challenge where artists attack other artists with art of their characters! We will be celebrating this wonderful, creative time by handing out bonuses for attacks directed at Lucerna characters!
Much like Draw the Lucernan Above, when drawing other people's characters for Art Fight, you'll receive bonus copper rewards!
How to Play
How to Play
Fill out the form found in our 🏮︱art-fight channel and post it in there to register to play. This is required in order to be added to our Art Fight Roster for easy attacks, defends, and to receive rewards! The AF Roster will be pinned in the channel every year.
Only Lucernan characters count towards Art Fight rewards.
As you complete attacks, post this form to collect your rewards in that channel and specify:

Here's the breakdown:
Half Body or Less: 200 Copper
Full Body: 500 Copper
Color: +100 Copper (stacks with one of the above)

You will also receive 1 silver per attack if the character you're attacking is Full Body and Colored!

Drawgust is a month long challenge to encourage players to develop their characters, build up their stories, and explore the world of Lucerna!
Rewards from all group activities, including events that may currently be running, will be doubled for the month of August!
DTLA entries will also double in rewards as long as they are posted and completed between August 1st and August 31st.

To reach milestones, you must submit art/literature from Aug 1st, 2o26 until the end of the challenge.
There is no limit on how many characters can participate in the Milestone challenge

If you complete all 3 milestones, you may restart.
You cannot collect Milestones out of order.
You must finish all 3 before collecting Milestone rewards again. Ex: Doing 2 ID Papers and 2 Tasks of choice will only allow you to collect Milestone 1 once until 2 and 3 are completed again.
Art must be done within the month of August when collecting Milestones.
Repeatable tasks are allowed to be used multiple times in milestones.
Ex: Expressive, no? May be done twice for Milestone 2.
Collabs are allowed (unless the specific task prohibits collabs)!

Sketchtember

Runs from September 1st ~ September 30th
A monthly challenge that's a little more laid back in comparison to the Milestone grinding that Drawgust was... For Sketchtember all activities, tasks, or events, will only require uncolored sketches to receive full rewards!
Except for ID Papers of course!
For the base ID Papers requirements, all elements need to be colored, but if you'd like bonus rewards then you do not have to color those items!

Your character must have [ID Papers] completed to participate.
The base requirements for ID Papers is the only task that does not count for Sketchtember.
2. Characters and backgrounds (if required) must be recognizable to count.
3. Collect rewards by posting in the relevant task or event channels.
4. Adding color does not give additional bonuses.
5. Collabs allowed!

Inspired by the official Inktober challenge, Lucerna has come up with its own separate list of prompts to inspire you!

Characters participating must have their ID or FID Papers completed.
Collabs allowed!
Minimum lined, full body colored character fitting the prompt theme. Each prompt completed earns 500 Copper and 1 Silver.
No backgrounds are required, but if included +500 Copper
If a bonded familiar is included in the theme, +500 Copper and +1 Silver. Familiar does not have to be full body, but must be interacting with the character or part of the prompt. Ex: A familiar's floating head in a speech bubble will not count.
Minimum Palette: Black, white, and one accent color of choice.
Gray tones are also allowed as long as the min palette is present.
Prompts may be repeated and multiple characters can be included. If you just want to draw characters in a bunch of cute sweaters go for it, get that copper and silver! You may farm copper and silver as much as you'd like! We encourage it even!
Be sure to fill out the form in the 🏮︱inktober channel to receive your rewards!
For every set of 10 unique (non repeated) prompts per main character that you turn in, you will receive a milestone reward.

Draftember & Free For Alls
Draftember & Free For Alls
Runs from November 1st ~ November 30th
Draftember is a writing challenge month where you can use your characters to reach a 25,000 word count goal. This can also be in the form of a roleplay collaboration, though that would double the word count. The challenge can be completed as many times as the person achieves the word count.
Not much of an author? That's alright!
In addition to Draftember, we have a Free For All option which allows any art or literature created to receive rewards, whether they are for tasks, or events, or just for fun!

At least one of your characters must have the ID Papers prompt completed in order to participate. Many characters can be included (even personal NPCs or characters without ID Papers completed) as long as the focus of the story is on the characters who have completed ID Papers.
Reach a word count of 25,000 words in a cohesive story.
The story can be broken up into multiple tasks to min max as long as it is a coherent story.
No Task caps per submissions, but tasks must be separated by sections (Ex: Part I - M1 - Brush Task, Part II - M3 - Who Are You? Task)
Roleplays encouraged and collaborations allowed, but the word count scales with the number of collaborators. (Ex: 2 collaborators = 50k, 3 collaborators = 75k etc)
We use wordcounter.net to count entries.
Fill the form out and post it in the 🏮︱draftember channel to claim the reward!
If you don't make the 25,000 Word count, don't worry! You can still turn your submission in to gain 2 Copper per word at the end of the month!

You may not claim one piece of art multiple times in this channel.
Ex: You submit a sketch of Tog, then a couple days later you submit same sketch, but it's lined and colored.

Merry Holidays!! Jolly Giftcember is a groupwide Secret Santa Event that runs every year! In addition to exchanging beautiful art with your fellow Lucernans, you will also receive a fancy Gift Box with a bundle of items and Full Coin Pouch for participating!
Please only sign up if you intend to complete the art and put considerable effort into your pieces! These are meant to be gifts, after all!

Fill out the form and post in the 🏮︱secret santa channel between November 1st and November 25th to sign up.
If you decide to back out, that is totally fine! Simply delete your comment BEFORE November 26th. If you delete your comment after the window closes we will count that as an art Bop, timing you out of gift-exchange activities for a set amount of time.
AttacusLinne will DM you with your Secret Santa recipient on December 1st. Please DM that staff member back by February 1st, 2027 11:00 AM CDT with the art you're tasked to draw! We recommend sending it in sooner in case there are any corrections needed to the piece!
Do not reveal your Secret Santa Recipient to anyone! You will be disqualified from participating if you do! If you would like to check with staff about a piece, DM AttacusLinne directly as this account will be frequently checked by admins during this time period.
Pick at least one of the characters listed for you to draw! A lined, full body, colored piece WITH a background is required. Remember this is the holidays! Put in good effort for your Secret Santa recipient!
All Secret Santa entries are due February 1st, 2027 11:00 AM CDT.
On February 5th, all entries and gift boxes will be revealed in this channel by a staff member!

Like DTLA, if you do not complete the art in time, you'll be given a little Bop and timed out of gift-exchange activities for a set amount of time. You will not receive a coin pouch or a gift box and your Secret Santa recipient won't receive any art. We understand life things get in the way and that the holidays is a busy time for everyone, but-
there will be no extensions and no exceptions!
If you complete your art by February 4th, you will still receive a Randomized Coin Pouch for your efforts, but no gift box.
