The LINK Center’s Training of Trainers (ToT) Program is a capacity-building initiative designed to promote inclusive education and foster supportive, disability-inclusive communities. Anchored in the belief that inclusion begins with understanding and shared responsibility, the program empowers individuals and organizations to become advocates and facilitators of inclusive practices, particularly for learners with special needs and the deaf community.
At the core of the program is a commitment to awareness-building, advocacy, and the development of sustainable support networks. Participants engage in a structured learning experience that includes Basic Sign Language Training, equipping them with practical communication skills while cultivating positive attitudes toward inclusion and accessibility.
Through this program, the LINK Center seeks to share practical knowledge, strengthen local capacity, and deepen participants’ understanding of the lived experiences of the deaf community. By preparing trainers, educators, and frontline personnel, the program helps create environments where persons with disabilities are not only accommodated but genuinely welcomed, understood, and meaningfully included in community life and service delivery.
The Training of Trainers Program aims to:
Strengthen the capacity of community workers and stakeholders to effectively support persons with disabilities, particularly members of the deaf community
Equip participants with inclusive communication skills and engagement strategies for diverse settings
Develop a pool of local trainers who can cascade inclusive practices within their respective communities
Promote sustainable, community-based support systems aligned with broader disability inclusion initiatives
We organized a comprehensive seminar and training program tailored specifically for curriculum developers, aiming to equip them with essential skills and in-depth knowledge about micro-credentials.
This training dives deep into the dynamic world of micro-credentials, engaging participants in lively discussions that uncover the essential elements of this innovative approach. Curriculum developers walked away equipped with the tools and insights necessary to implement micro-credentials effectively, empowering them to create meaningful learning experiences.
