Despite establishing support programs for people who are deaf, endeavours in providing holistic assistance will be futile if there is a lack of awareness about the situation and needs of children and youth who are deaf. Thus, it is imperative to promote deaf awareness about their abilities. Through awareness-raising programs, outreach activities, and artistic events, the public can observe that individuals who are deaf can surpass their disability and be self-reliant members of society. It will also encourage members of the community to take active responsibility in the uplifting of the economic and social conditions of persons with disabilities.
