Rationale: After completing the first level of the Fundamentals Training for Google, I have gained a basic overview of the tools that Google makes available. I also learned multiple strategies from this training that I can incorporate into my future classroom. This training is a significant opportunity for professional development. It also can be beneficial to teach educators to stay current on technology and Google, to communicate with other education professionals within the Google community, and to spread new ideas on how teachers can optimize student learning.
Wyoming Digital Learning Guidelines
Class: ITEC 2360 Teaching With Technology
Semester: Fall 2021
Rationale: In the training for the Wyoming Digital Learning Guidelines, it covered ISTE standards for both students and educators and different ways to integrate these standards into teaching with technology. In addition, it can be very efficient for educators to complete this training every couple of years to keep up to date on the standards and technology.
