Class: EDUC 2100 Practicum in Teaching
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: When drafting this lesson, I was very mindful of meeting the needs of every student in the classroom. To support student learning, scaffolding was provided for the students through gradual release. To ensure that students were meeting the district standard,"ss.1.2.3 - Show the cardinal directions of north, south, east and west", I incorporated a fun game towards the end of the lesson called, "The Directions Game", where students identified the cardinal directions in the classroom.
