Life cycle of a Sunflower Review Lesson Plan #3
Class: EDUC 2100 Practicum in Teaching
Semester: Spring 2022
Rationale: This lesson plan incorporates technology such as Nearpod and displays how students can be digital citizens. The technological aspect was engaging for the learners, and allowed for learners to think critically and creatively when answering engaging questions. As for professional development, I was able to review my practices through video and seek for improvement from my mentor teacher. I gained more awareness of the areas I was proficient in and what I can do better the next time I deliver a lesson that will ensure that I meet the needs of every learner.
Final Project: Lesson Plan

It outlined the student objectives and unpacked a standard to formulate the lesson plan. This lesson encourages students to think critically and creatively when answering the Bloom's Taxonomy questions.
Sample Science Phenomena
Class: EDCI 1430 Life Science in the Elementary School
Semester: Spring 2021
Rationale: In this assignment, I evaluated a lesson about a science phenomena. The lesson was primarily lead by students rather than the teacher. Students were engaged in their critical thinking when drawing diagrams and making inferences of how they thought this phenomena worked. Students also collaborated with each other to assess diagrams, give constructive feedback, and when reflecting on their drawings. This assignment helped me realize the importance of not being stationary when teaching lessons, how to stimulate the student's interest in science phenomena, as well as exploring different strategies that will motivate them to learn.
