ShelfTrack Terms

These terms apply to the ShelfTrack: Expiry Tracker app ("ShelfTrack", "the app") by Krish Innovation Labs, the trade name of an individual developer ("we"). By using ShelfTrack you agree to them.

A tracker, not advice

ShelfTrack is a home inventory and expiry-date tracker. It records what you enter or confirm and shows which dates are close. It does not recommend, prescribe or give advice about any medicine, food or product, and it does not tell you whether anything is safe to use. Always read the pack, and ask a doctor or pharmacist about medicines. Text and barcodes read from photos are suggestions that can be wrong; you must check them before saving. Dates and alerts depend on what you entered and may contain your own typing or reading errors.

Who may use ShelfTrack

ShelfTrack is intended for adults (18+).

Your data

Your data is stored on your device and is your responsibility. We cannot recover it if your phone is lost, reset or the app is uninstalled. Use "Save a backup file" regularly to keep a copy. See the privacy policy for details.

Free trial and Pro

Every new user gets a free trial of Pro with no payment details. When it ends, the free version keeps working and everything you added stays. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, sold through Google Play. The price is shown before you buy. Pro removes the free limits on items and places and adds spreadsheet (CSV) export. Scanning, alerts, backup and restore are free for everyone. Payment, refunds and restoring the purchase on a new phone are handled by Google Play under Google Play's terms and refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, modify or redistribute the app, try to bypass the free limits or the trial, or use the app to break any law.

Availability and liability

ShelfTrack is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, that photo reading is accurate, or that an alert will arrive on time (your phone's battery and notification settings can delay it). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision you make based on the app, spoiled or expired goods, data loss, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and significant changes will be mentioned in the app's release notes.
