Swap seats with the passenger who wants yours.
Middle seat next to a window seat someone would happily give up? Upper berth while somebody three bays down would rather be off the floor? SeatExchange puts you in a private Trip Room with the other passengers on your exact train, flight, bus or ferry, shows you who wants to move and what they are offering, and helps you agree a swap — anonymously, and without anyone paying anyone else for a seat.
How it works
Add your trip — scan your boarding pass, paste your booking message, or type the service number and date. SeatExchange never reads your messages and never asks for your location.
See matches. Other passengers appear as handles like "Passenger #204", with a match score and the kind of seat they are offering.
Use a Swap Token to send a swap request. If they accept, you see their coach and seat. The token is only spent if you both confirm the swap in person: declined or expired, and it comes straight back.
Meet at the seat and confirm with a 4-digit code or a QR scan. Both phones then show the same verification code, which you can show the crew if they ask.
Find each other by seat number. Once a request is accepted, you see the other passenger's coach, deck or cabin and seat, so you simply walk over. SeatExchange never asks for your location or for access to nearby devices.
Your trip deletes itself about two hours after you arrive, automatically.
SeatExchange is not affiliated with any airline, railway, bus or ferry operator. It cannot reassign seats, and every swap is subject to your carrier's rules and the crew's discretion. No money ever changes hands between passengers.
