Ward R. Anderson winters in Key West, lives in Annapolis, and travels with his wife along the East Coast on their boat, Skylark. He has a B.A. in History from Bucknell University and is a past Director of The Maryland Federation of Art.
A Navy Attack pilot flying from the USS Ranger, he eventually retired as a Naval Reserve Captain. He flew for Piedmont Airlines and US Airways.
He joined the KWWG in 2018 and found the guidance from peers helpful in the development of his first novel, Escape From Ukraine. First published in 2020, he republished the historical fiction in 2022 after Putin’s invasion of Crimea. His latest novel, Putin’s Interpreter, is complete.
