Parliamentarian and Teller of Tales
With over 30 years of public speaking and as a graduate of Second City improvisation, Dr. Carol Prahinski tells engaging stories about Keys characters and fauna with Up The Keys Tours. As a professor, her business-teaching cases, classroom experience, and published research won numerous local and international awards. Today, she writes memoirs, such as The Fiancé Visa and, with her late father, And They All Cheered!
For fun, as a parliamentarian, she helps organizations and leaders write or update bylaws and policies, and run effective meetings using Robert’s Rules of Order. Her clients include Key West Writers Guild, Union for Non-Teaching Faculty, Michigan Unit of Registered Parliamentarians, and Michigan Association of Parliamentarians.
Dr. Prahinski is a retired Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University. She was nationally awarded as the “Top 50 Undergraduate Business Professors” by Poets and Quants (USA). She appreciated the decision-making process on the International Board of Directors with Toastmasters International.
