As technology continues to advance in this day and age, I became more interested in the relationship between humans and technology. Robots have always fascinated me because they seem to be a symbol of unification between men and technology. I aim to explore that subtle relationship through this piece by creating attire for the robot, treating it like a human despite knowing that robots do not need clothes. With human-like features yet lacking in any emotions, this piece further emphasizes the idea of not being able to communicate or express one's opinions. The garment serves a futuristic aesthetic matching the robot, making us think that the two are supposed to be together; however, the garment is actually also a symbolization of restraint, which emphasizes the idea of one not being able to express their emotions and opinions while being secretly controlled, just like the effect the garment has on the robot.
