Hi, Welcome!
This is a miniature space of Junzhu Zhang,
a student artist,
a current senior at Visual Arts Conservatory in OCSA, and a coming freshman at the art college in fall 2021.
I have received several offers from art colleges, such as RISD, Parsons, Pratt, SVA, CCA, Otis, and UAL: CSM, and most of them include generous scholarships.
I finally decided to go to RISD for the Fine Arts program.
My portfolio reflects some of my thinking about the reality of life and social environment,
including some tentative analysis of the meaning of life, such as individual vulnerability and limitations;
younger's confusion and muddle along with the life; adult's constant pursuit of power;
the ascension of the faithful practitioner's inner spirit world; ugliness vs beauty and life vs death,
they are born from each other; how do human and nature live in harmony and interdependence, and so on.
