Sixth Grade Advisory

The first class you will be going to on the first day of school is your advisory class.  You will remain with the same classmates and the same teacher for all three years at Denman.  This will be your home base and family.  After the first week of school, your advisory class will meet once a week.  The advisory curriculum is focused on developing your social emotional and organizational skills to help you be successful in your daily life.  During advisory, you will also participate in different activities and projects to help you build awareness of the world around you.

Information Distribution

This is also where you will be getting all of the upcoming dates and info about school events, programs, and important papers.  Parent and guardian information will be  sent home throughout the year. You will also learn about upcoming student activities during this class.
