A passion for good food
Javier Burillo is an independent chef and baker. Like most of the people in culinary arts, he is a foodie first. From attempts at three-ingredient recipes, he decided to improve his skills in the kitchen. What started with passion turned into a promising career. While he enjoys preparing American, Mexican, and French food, he specializes in making desserts. He also makes treats for those who are conscious about their cholesterol and sugar levels. Javier Burillo wants to show people that the food they enjoy doesn't have to be bad for their bodies. When he's not whipping up good food in the kitchen, he enjoys watching shows that feature delicious dishes such as "No Reservations, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown," "The Mind of a Chef," "The Final Table," "Ugly Delicious," and "The Chef Show."
Food as an expression
Independent chef and baker Javier Burillo has witnessed how food can be an expression of one's creativity and affection. When he was younger, he started by making simple recipes that required a few ingredients. But as his palate widened, he desired to improve his skills in the kitchen. After learning more about cooking and baking, he decided to pursue being a chef full time. As a fan of shows like "No Reservations, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown," "The Mind of a Chef," "The Final Table," "Ugly Delicious," and "The Chef Show," he wants to cook and bake to make for people's enjoyment. On the other hand, he also understands the sentiments of those who are watching their sugar and cholesterol levels. Still, he believes that people should indulge in good food that will also benefit their health.
