IthacaSTEM Advocates is pleased to announce its first IthacaSTEM Associate —the Ithaca High School Code Red Robotics team!
Code Red Robotics is a great example of student engagement in STEM with 65 student members and many adult mentors. The team advanced to the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) international championship in 2012 and 2013.
As an IthacaSTEM Associate, Code Red Robotics is seeking sponsorship by way of tax-deductible donations made possible through IthacaSTEM's affiliation with the Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI)’s 501(c)(3) status. Code Red Robotics will also benefit from participating in the IthacaSTEM network of community volunteers and mentors.
Other STEM-related organizations in the Ithaca City School District who wish to apply to become an IthacaSTEM Associate can start the process at IthacaSTEM.org.
