Do you think that you can design better toys than the ones they sell in stores? If so, then ArtBots is for you! ArtBots is a toy-design class for ages 9 and up that includes elements of design, found-object sculpture, electronics, and entrepreneurship. In the first week of class, students will be covering the basics of design, aesthetics, simple electronics, and brainstorming. In the second week, students will use these skills to “mass produce” a toy-design of their own creation. On the final day of class there will be a toy sale so that students can distribute their awesome toy designs to interested buyers!
