This book is comprehensive, it covers Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Turkey and Greece. It includes travel tips, site information, bible reading guides, and a great set of maps. It's small enough to take with you or you can buy it on Kindle.
Jerusalem & Central Israel Biblical Sites Guide, Todd M. Fink. 628 pages
This book focuses only on Israel and goes into great detail. The author is a pastor who leads tours every year and his travel guide is packed with information. In fact, his website is pretty much everything in his book. The book is also available on Kindle.
