Mt. of Olives

The Mount of Olives is located a brief half mile to the east of the Temple Mount on the other side of the Kidron Valley.  The Gospels say Jesus would often teach at the Temple and spend the night on the Mount of Olives.  The major events in the ministry of Jesus on the Mt. of Olives include the following:

2. The Olivet Discourse (Matt 24)

3. Praying at the Garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26:36-46)

4. Jesus' Betrayal and Arrest (Matt 26:47-56)

5.  The Ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:9-12)
