The Via Dolorosa has been a major destination for pilgrims since the early days of Christianity. Church tradition holds that The Via Dolorosa, also known as, the Way of Sorrow or the Way of Suffering, follows the path Jesus took to his crucifixion. There are 14 Stations along the half-mile East-West route that starts on the north side of the Temple Mount near the Church of the Condemnation and ends at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

If walking The Via Dolorosa is on your bucket list, I highly recommend watching this video by Pastor Todd Fink. He goes to each station and describes the Biblical or traditional significance of each.
