Trip to Dalhousie

'Life is an expedition, it wants you to go forward.'

About the place: Dalhousie is a hill station in the chamba district of himachal pradesh. it is built on an around five hills, kathalagh, potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Bhangora. It is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. It is situated between 6000-9000 ft above sea level.

The first batch of IIT Jammu students, full of hysteria departed for a 180 km long road journey. Students were accompanied by some faculties. Even the onerous journey couldn't dwindle the excitement of students. On reaching Dalhousie, they were overwhelmed to see clouds undulating so keen to them.Spirited students quickly rushed for trekking. What could be more chilling than torrential rain into the hills? It felt like heaven to be in the hills in the rain and that too with the dearest friends. 'Bonfire' was kept ready for students returning from trekking. They were stationed in the camps. They kept playing games across the Bonfire through the night. DJ night was just the perfect means to get rid of a semester long frustrations. Next morning, amidst little snowfall they packed their bags back to college. The trip was rejuvenating and diligently organised. Dalhousie is a place worth visiting.
