Stand up comedy by Vinay Sharma

The famous Mechanchi from IIT Bombay, currently researching deeply in the field of laughter,came to Jammu to share his research papers with the students of IIT Jammu. First experience of stand up comedy went very well for us. It was a heavy day for the 2k16 batch as we were busy in introducing ourselves and in taking the ‘introduction’ of the 2k17 batch students. But truly speaking the stand up comedy lifted the academic pressure off us , not for long since minors were on their way. Now talking about the performance, ‘Haina beta’ gave us one of the best moments amongst all, and then came the jokes about loneliness of mechanical engineers in IIT, which most could relate to. Overall the show was a huge success, thanks to Vinay Sharma. Special thanks to our Director Prof. M.S. Gaur for planning the workshop for us.
