教師職涯的第二階段是擔任美術老師,不同的職位給予我在教育方面有了不同的體驗,能以不同的視點再切入,觀察自己在教職上的所作所為。
維持美勞教室整潔相當不容易,身為掌管者嘗試了各種方法要維持桌面的乾淨,先用白淨的桌布將桌面包覆起來,以老師威嚴之姿訂下規定,警告他們使用時不可在桌面上面亂塗鴉、破壞,否則處罰。另一方面,身為創作者的我開始紀錄起桌布的使用變化,在學生小心翼翼的使用下,從全白到痕跡斑斑,其中,學生不小心的破壞,竟變成一筆筆抽象繪畫大師般的揮毫之作,看著這『自然技法』下不斷成熟的作品,有種打破教師包袱的喜悅,也形成了作品。
At the second stage of my teaching career, I serve as an art teacher. Different positions have given me alternative experiences in education, and I can observe what I do in my teaching position from diverse perspectives.
Maintain the art classroom clean and tidy requires a lot of efforts. As the person in charge, I tried various methods to keep the tabletop clean. First, I covered the tabletop with a white tablecloth, and set the rules in a majestic manner as a teacher. I warned them not to make graffiti or other wrong doings on the tabletop, otherwise they would be punished. On the other hand, as a creator, I began to record the changes in the use of the tablecloth. With the careful use from the students, it went from completely crispy white to heavily stained. Among them, the students' careless destruction turned into a stroke of abstract painting like a master's effortless works. Looking at the works that are constantly maturing under this "spontaneous technique", I feel the joy of breaking through the teacher's framing while artworks are formed.
