TYPE It
Should be the default option.
CC information will be entered by the guest using their phone keypad followed by the # sing.
Make sure the guest has the credit card ready.
Let the customer know that the credit card number must be typed down using their phone keypad. It's very important to mention that the # sign bottom needs to be pressed after the whole credit card number is entered.
The "Start Capture" bottom must be pressed to start the process.
Make sure that you don't press anything while the customer is typing their credit card information, if you do so the capture will restart and will not be able to obtain the numbers previously entered.
If the customer informs you that they accidentally misspelled the credit card number or you've been told that they are done but you are unable to see the last 4 digits of the card, let them know and restart the process again.
The process will be the same for the credit card expiration.
Type It - Troubleshooting
If an invalid card number was entered, the following message will appear on your screen.
The customer must be advised that the card number entered is wrong, and the whole information and process needs to be repeated.
