If you want to join in with what’s happening in Denmead, meet friendly people, or lend a hand now and then, there are lots of easy ways to get involved.

Our group survey showed that people feel Greening Denmead is friendly, supportive, and a great place to meet like‑minded villagers. We have a thriving WhatsApp community with multiple groups that meet face to face regularly.

If you’d like to get to know us, you’re warmly invited to come along to any of our events. It’s a relaxed way to see what we’re doing and meet the people behind it.

Our Seeds of Change gatherings are perfect if you’re curious, everything sounds interesting, or you’re not sure where to begin.

There’s absolutely no commitment — just friendly faces, good conversation, and a chance to hear what’s happening in the village.

You don’t need to have a clear idea. Just tell us your interests, skills, or the amount of time you have, and we’ll help you find something that suits you. We’re always happy to arrange a friendly phone chat to talk about what you enjoy, what you’re interested in, and where your help could make a difference. There’s something for everyone — practical tasks, organising things, creative ideas, gardening, Zero Waste, Net Zero, or simply helping out when you can.
