The Greening Campaign

Greening Denmead is part of, and supported by, the Greening Campaign. 

The Greening Campaign is a national organisation that supports community action on climate change. Since 2008 it has helped more than 200 communities make a measurable difference using a distinctive and trusted programme.

This year (until April 2025 at least) via the Greening Campaign’s national lottery funding, we have expert support and resources available to us to take forward 5 pillars.

Our volunteers tell us one of the reasons they like volunteering with us is that they get to learn from experts and share knowledge with others in the community.

The Pillars of the Greening Campaign

Each of these ‘pillars’ is a programme or menu of options that our community can decide what to take forward. Each pillar has a detailed information pack for how to achieve the programme, and an expert who will guide us.
