We had to pick a subculture to base our collection on. I picked Decora, so my collection involves a lot of colour and layering details.
Fashion marketing:
we were to create a fashion brand and create strategic marketing campaigns to promote our brand and sell our products.
I created a fantasy bag brand that is dedicated to celebrating your unique personality through bags that are as playful, elegant, and enchanting as you are. Our journey began with a dream to create accessories that not only complement your wardrobe but also tell your story. Our designs bring a perfect blend of sweetness and sophistication to your everyday style.

We also made open to buy (OTB) plans and stock keeping unit (SKU) using Excel. plan opening mechanics and marketing campaign mockups.
I came up with IDYLLIC, a small Hanfu brand dedicated to sharing the rich cultural heritage of traditional Chinese clothing with people of all ages, especially the youth. We aim to bring the joy and elegance of Hanfu to the modern world, allowing the younger generation to experience the beauty and freedom our ancestors cherished. Imagine running around a palace or through town, draped in luxurious garments that evoke a sense of history and tradition. Each piece in our collection is crafted with care, capturing the essence of ancient designs while ensuring comfort and style for today's wearers. With a modern twist, we show that Hanfu can be seamlessly integrated with everyday clothing, offering a unique way to elevate your style. By embracing Hanfu, we hope to reconnect people with their roots and inspire a deeper appreciation for our cultural heritage.
Fashion Product Development:
We were to select a brand, help design their new launch, and try to fill the trend gap.
I picked the brand "Vina of the Valley" and designed a Neapolitan ice cream-themed collection, as Neapolitan themes in clothing have been trending, and I feel that Vina of the Valley fits the themes of ice cream cuteness.
For the new collection, I aim to incorporate a Neapolitan colour scheme, blending the essence of Larme, Himekaji, and Coquette styles. This collection will feature playful and feminine elements with cookie and fruit motifs, adding a fun, whimsical touch. I plan to introduce a variety of silhouettes and delicate detailing to enhance the overall dressing-up experience, making each piece feel special and thoughtfully designed.
