Well, our bags are packed and we're ready to go!

We've been meaning to write this all summer, but we've been too busy packing up our belongings and finishing some odd jobs around the house. We leave next Monday on a travel, worldschooling, volunteer adventure for the next 8 or 9 months.

We are so blessed to be able to take a leave from our jobs to do this and were lucky to find a good renter for our house. So, where are we going?

We'll spend three weeks in Nice, France where we'll be doing a home exchange with our renters. It was an opportunity we just couldn't pass up! At the end of August, we'll be flying to Nairobi, Kenya and from there, traveling to Arusha, Tanzania, where we'll be spending the next 8 months or so. We'll be living and volunteering at Pamoja Ministries, while homeschooling our kids. We're also hoping that while we're in Tanzania, we'll be able to see the sites - like go on Safaria, visit Zanzibar and climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

We're excited (and a little nervous) about what the next year will hold for us as a family. We hope to learn a lot about people and cultures around the world, see some beautiful places, experience life as a Christ follower in a new way and grow together as a family.
