Food in Europe

Bread - The bread in Belgium was different from Canada because you always get fresh bread and many varieties delivered to your house every day. You can even get it from a vending machine!!!
Germany - In Germany, we went to our friends’ house. While we were there, we went to a restaurant that sold currywurst, which is sausage with curry sauce that comes with fries, but I only had fries. The day after that, we went to a shawarma restaurant that was kind of like subway there I had a big roll.
Chocolate - In Belgium, we went to a chocolate museum where we learned a lot about Belgian chocolate, like how the cocoa beans come all the way from the Congo, and one cocoa bean pod is hardly enough to make one chocolate bar.
Jack and Godlieve’s house - In Belgium, we stayed with our relatives and every night we had really, really good tomato soup for an appetizer and the first night I ate 5 bowls of it. Then, for the main meal we had salad, chicken and croquettes. The croquettes are super good. They’re made out of potatoes and breadcrumbs and they look like a little roll because the potato is rolled in the breadcrumbs.
Overall, the food in Europe is good and interesting.
