Our visit to Feerward

During our time in Europe, we had the opportunity to visit the area where Eli's mom grew up just outside of Groningen. Some highlights of the day included visiting the house where Nana lived during her childhood, her grandparents house in Feerward, the cemetery where her grandparents are buried and a working windmill. Below are some photos as well as Vangie's highlights.
One day, we went to Nana's cousin's house. We had sandwiches with lion sprinkles and meat (*not on the same sandwich*). After lunch, he let me and my brothers ride his go-cart around the block. We probably did it a million times. He also had a pond in his yard, with a fence over top of it. Toby touched it and said, "it's an electric fence!" Then, my mom said, "No, it's not!" So, I touched it and said, "No, it's n..." Then, it shocked me! I had a really fun time visiting Anco Guikema, even though I got shocked.
