Peleliu
We want to establish a “Sustainable Development” for Peleliu State by utilizing our own local natural resources and assets found on land and in the water within the state jurisdiction first before venturing out or outside assistance and investments. In order to have a state meaningful sustainable development framework in place we must first establish a well thought out Master Development Plan for the state to address the economic, social, and political affairs of the state.
1. Avoid leasing properties both public and private to foreign investors i.e. 50-99 years;
2. To promote environmentally friendly tourism related investments i.e. bungalows instead of tall concrete buildings;
3. To promote strong environmental protection and conservation measure state laws;
4. Provide strong measures to conserve and sustain all marine and terrestrial resources;
5. To promote educational programs on best practices to protect and conserve the environment and its resources for today’s generation as well as for the future generation
