5 Jewelers (3 sold products, one displayed rocks and rock jewelry art)

Approximately $8,100 in sales (still an estimate)
According to the Palau Chamber of Commerce, this is high for an artisanal event like this
11 Producers sold out (and 1 sold 51 out of 52 products)
Most other producers sold 70-80% of their products
Eco-Friendly:
No plastic bags were offered to carry purchases
Paper Bentos for pre-packed lunches with wooden cutlery - no plastics for any meal
1 producer who purposefully avoided plastic as a direct result of the showcase
Northern Reefs Fisheries Coop made arrangements with weavers to create eco-friendly gift packaging for cans of local pelagic fish
Sustainability:
At least one future supply deal with a hotel gift shop and a carver
Confirmed deal with fisheries coop and weavers
275 registered attendees (during crowded periods, did not register everyone)

The 1st Showcase (2021) was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment (MAFE) together with the Palau Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Palau Visitors Authority & Belau National Museum and with the support of the United Nations Micronesia Office (Food Systems Dialogues), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Global Environment Facility (GEF6).
