When watching the first video in this lesson, my first thought other than "wow shiny," was "what happens to the excess materials thats being shaved off?"
Does that get collected then re-melted into a whole new piece to be shaved off again? or is it then more scrap.
This picture was really useful in understanding the way a cutting tools "blade" is shaped or directed/ angled.
These two are often confused, or hard to tell. this gif was excellent in demonstrating the difference.
