Week 5

Going over this lesson one of the many things I believe is always overlooked is the Transporting of resources. We are usually aware of what materials things are made of and where they come from, but how to they get from x to y is not always talked about. The different modes of transport, and reasons for using perhaps trucks over trains or boats over planes.

I Thought the chart below was extremely helpful in understanding how the materials were transformed, processed, and then actually used. An example being the creation of slabs tturning into steel plates or the blooms being turned into rails or I-Beams
