The Forbes Shield was presented to New Forest South by a Captain Forbes in 1911. It was a large trophy with approximately 30 silver shields fixed to it for recording the winners details.
It was replaced (year unknown) with a new trophy made from a large oak block with a silver tent on it.

1934 - 10th Lymington - the 1937 event was held at Buckland Rings in Lymington. The 10th beat the 9th Lymington (Sea Scouts) by 2 points.
1937 - 10th Lymington (St Thomas' Church Troop) - the 1937 event was held at Buckland Rings in Lymington over the weekend of 3-4 July. A maximum of 160 marks were available; placings were reported in the New Milton Advertiser as follows:
10th Lymington (St Thomas' Church Troop) - 110 points (Patrol Leader T Chambers)
1st Lymington - 109 points (Patrol Leader AE Lane)
