The Wyllie Woodcraft Trophy was named after Mr WL Wyllie RA, who was the ADC (Sea Scouts) for the Portsmouth Association at the time of his death in 1931. The trophy was already known by that name prior to 1931, so was presumably donated by him. It was described as 'a watercolour painting' in the Portsmouth Evening News in 1957.
