Fareham East - Alec Bowmaker

Alec Bowmaker was the first Scout Master of 17th Fareham, when it was formed in 1947. His role in the instigation of the District camping competition is not known, but it would have been Fareham District at that time.

At some stage, the original trophy was lost and a new one was made by ? Humphrey.
